Study Reveals The Industry Contributed $1 Trillion to U.S. Economy in 2012

The Intellectual Property Alliance published a study showing that employees in copyright industries earn 33% more than the average worker in the U.S. The core copyright industries include motion pictures, books, music and video games. 

If you were to formulate a theory as to why employees in these industries make considerably more than employees in other industries, what would be your thesis?
