It was too good to be true. How could the 10 agents who up and left CAA for UTA have no legal consequences? Legal action between the rivals is still heating up following the lawsuit against Gregory Cavic and Gregory McKnight for their ‘lawless midnight raid.’ These two are in legal trouble for breach of the duty of loyalty and possible conspiracy with UTA. Three more agents: Jason Heyman, Martin Lesak, and Nick Nuciforo were allegedly aware that Cavic and McKnight would be making the move and followed in their footsteps. CAA has filed arbitration claims against the three agents who were still under contract when they left the company. CAA is still recovering from the damage done to its reputation and disruption in the workplace; I wonder how this is all going to play out.
